Crawford’s sponsors All Fours

At a press conference called at AS Bryden, Jason Charles, Brands and Promotions Manager of Crawford’s Scotch Whisky expressed his company’s excitement in being one of the major title sponsors of the top All Fours competition in Trinidad and Tobago.

It carries a total prize money including incentives of over $140,000, the most ever offered in any All Fours competition. Charles indicated that his company and in particular, Crawford’s Scotch Whisky believe strongly that the NSL is traveling the same path in the development of the sport, sharing the same goals in every community.

Both also see the organisation in a very positive light particularly when they concentrate heavily on discipline in their League Competitions.

Charles said it’s the first time that Crawford’s will be venturing in such a project and found that the image of the brand symbolises the true “grassroots culture of our peoples.” And this is their way of giving back something to their loyal customers who have made it the number one brand in their category. Lincoln Persad , President/CEO of the Nationwide Sports League expressed his appreciation for AS Bryden and Sons (Trinidad Limited) support which indicates the confidence shown in partnering with the NSL and the Trinidad and Tobago Card Players Association.

He said the NSL has been attempting to make the game more widely accepted by the public for the last eight years promoting the National League with whatever funding received from merchandising of sporting equipment and uniforms exclusively in the championships.

Persad said that the other national sports organisations should emulate the effort to develop their sport.

Frankie Boodoo, Marketing and Public Relations Manager of the NSL indicated that the 2005 NSL National Six-Table All Fours Prize Distribution Ceremony would be held on Saturday, June 17 at the Topsport Recreation Club, Marabella starting at 7.30 pm.
