No TT passports missing

“Following a query raised by the Auditor General in the 2005 Report, the ministry conducted an investigation into the matter and has been able to account for all passports issued by the consulate general.”

The ministry said the discrepancy seen by the Auditor General was due to “inadequate streamlining” in the consulate’s record-keeping. “As a result the ministry has taken appropriate measures to improve the streamlining and ledger reconciliation procedures of the consulate’s immigration section,” the ministry said.
