Why no Indian player in Soca Warriors?
I am writing to him because as a long-standing UNC supporter, I am more than a bit confused about him. I would like him to help in clearing up my confusion.
As the UNC political leader, how come after more than forty years in control of local football, our national team to Germany does not have a single Indian player. I must admit though, a couple of years ago we had one Indian on the National Team, Arnold Dwarika half, plus Brent Rahim the other half. Pundit Jokham, I read in the newspaper the following cultural artistes are going to the World Cup: Shurwayne Winchester, Neil “Iwer” George, the Roy Cape All Stars, Kees Dieffenthaller, and Maximus Dan. How come pundit, this obvious cultural stew? You are our “meat” in the UNC and we, the “roti and bhagi.”
Please help us. Actions speak louder than words. At minimum you can do the Phagwa dance in Germany to showcase our culture. Dear Shri Jokham, I am concerned that you spend all your allotted time on the UNC platform fighting your personal FIFA battles, while the PNM is making inroads in our UNC heartland.
Pundit Warnerbadri, as a Rio Claro born, what do you have against your own Rio Claro Hindu boy Mr Dookeran, an honest devotee and a good soul?
