Death after attending wake

Police have ruled out foul play in the death of Gregory Ellis of Mafeking Village in Mayaro. A report stated he was knocked down by a speeding car along the Naparima Mayaro Road near to where Morrain lived.

An autopsy revealed Ellis died of injuries consistent with a vehicular accident.

Police said their investigations led them to believe the 34-year-old man was the victim of a hit-and-run accident. Investigations are continuing.
