Good luck from Florida Trinis

The Soca Warriors made me feel the way we both felt when we lived in Trinidad. My wife and I have come to realise there is no better place in the world for such support, love and excitement. Our people have what it takes to make the world go round.

We are proud Trinis today. We both work in the hospitals here in West Palm Beach and every staff and patient knows how we are feeling really full of pride and joy.

We miss our country, but unfortunately, there are not opportunities in the medical field like we have here plus the high crime rate is frightening. Of course the US also has a crime rate.

Our country is too small for that. We wish the conditions of housing and salary and opportunities were much better. Hopefully by the time we retire it will be safer. Nevertheless, we do visit every year because we still have family and many friends there.

Let’s hope the Soca Warriors World Cup experience will open the leader’s eyes that the world will soon want to come visit.

Please do better to make the country world class for each and everyone. Proud Trinis. We will be supporting the Warriors all the way.
