TT model returns home for Fashion Week
Sandhurst is a star Trinidad and Tobago born model who is successfully aligned to a large American model agency and is working and studying in the United States.
He will be centre stage at the Hyatt for the B Mobile sponsored FWTT, adding that extra sparkle to the shows.
He is excited about appearing at FWTT since he is interested in letting the local modelling fraternity know that with hard work and dedication they too can breach the gap and become internationally acclaimed.
Sandhurst Miggins was born and raised in Tobago, but spent his later teen years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. An avid dancer, Sandhurst studied ballet at the prestigious Rock School for Dance Education.
Currently Sandhurst attends Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he is seeking a degree in Strategic and Organisational Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations.
Sandhurst’s modelling career officially began when Diane Hunt of Radical Designs spotted him at Trinidad and Tobago’s inaugural fashion week and asked him to walk in Radical Design’s 2009 collection.
Since then, Sandhurst has walked for various designers in Brooklyn’s Bikini under the bridge Fashion show, organised by esteemed Caribbean fashion editor Walter Greene and he has also been photographed by noted Caribbean photographer Calvin French for the July 2008 issue of Caribbean Belle Magazine.
Sandhurst is currently enjoying great success as one of 16 models chosen to compete on the second season of Bravo network’s, US based, reality competition series Make Me A Supermodel, hosted by world famous male supermodel Tyson Beckford.
