2 more murders

The body of Russell Badaloo was found at about midday. Police were alerted to the body after they were contacted by a female resident at the apartment building, after she noticed a fowl stench and flies coming from Badaloo’s apartment.

Badaloo, 24, a taxi driver was found with his hands handcuffed behind his back and a plastic bag over his head. Badaloo who was originally from James Stewart Village in Manzanilla was a tenant at the apartment for the past four years. St Joseph police are continuing investigations.

In the other incident, a 21-year-old man of Eastern Quarry, Laventille, was shot dead while standing in front of his home at about 7 am yesterday. Ronald Barrow was reportedly standing directly in front of his home when occupants of a white vehicle pulled up, and fired several shots, striking him in the chest.

He slumped to the ground as the killers sped off.
