TT Ent’s Unplugged exhibition series is on

The performances of the artistes featured at the launch can now be seen on video on demand on TT Ent’s website ttentonline.com.

Emerging artistes applied to participate in the Unplugged Exhibition showcase. They were screened by and auditioned before a selection panel composed of industry experts from across various disciplines including music and dance (contemporary and Indian classical).

The audition process was followed by artiste development workshops which began on Thursday and end today.

The artistes selected to appear on an unplugged showcase (there will be four in the first series) will participate in the performance workshops before they move on to the next step – the Unplugged Showcase itself.

The artiste development and performance workshops assist artistes to develop to their full potential by assessing each with a view to identifying his/her strengths and weaknesses regarding image, presentation, and perfection of craft.

Artistes will also be provided with information regarding copyright laws and remuneration, and emphasis will be placed on such tools of the trade as management and performance contract templates.

Artistes will also get the opportunity to work with and network with music and video producers, photographers and clothing designers who will offer discounted services where possible.

The development workshops are open to all applicants of Unplugged.
