TTEC stay unbeaten

Darron Williams was the hero for Stokely Vale, twice netting equalisers for the hosts after Kevon Neaves (25th) and then Bevon Bass (49th) had given TTEC the advantage.

WASA lost the chance to keep within touching distance of TTEC when they were defeated 1-0 away to 1976 FC Phoenix at Canaan, Bon Accord. Lejandro Williams secured full points for third-placed Phoenix with a 45th minute item. Defence Force rallied from an early setback to edge St Francois Nationals 2-1 in Chaguaramas. The visitors went ahead in the first minute through Joel Whiteman but Dwight Scott level led the scores on the stroke of half-time.

And the evergreen forward Sherman Phillip got the game-winner for the hosts in the 62nd.

The scheduled meeting between strugglers Queen’s Park and Valtrin, which was due to take place at the NUGFW Ground in Valsayn, has been rescheduled to a date to be announced.

And, on Saturday, Joe Public’s quest to retain their title suffered another pitfall as they fell 2-1 to Club Sando at the Marvin Lee Stadium in Macoya.

Kyle Morgan (43rd) and Andy London (63rd) put Sando in the ascendancy and Tyronne Charles (76th) proved to be mere consolation for the hosts.

Match Day 18 contests will be staged on Thursday.
