Cycling at Skinner Park

The meet is being held in memory of Noel Luces who died earlier this month from a stroke and will carry the theme “This one is for you Noel”.

The event will feature some of the country’s top riders such as Njisane Phillip, Azikwe Kellar, Christopher Sellier, brothers Joshua and Adam Alexander, Varun Maharaj, Haseem Mc Lean, Barry Luces, Elijah Greene, Rudy Ashton and Mark Codrington. Jamaican cyclist Marloe Rodman will spearhead a regional team that includes Lingford Blackwood of Barbados, Warren McKay of Guyana and Dalhia Palmer of Jamaica. There will be action in the BMX, Tinymites, Juveniles, Juniors and Veterans.

Cyclists will be given points for each race which will be tallied to determine the top riders. The overall winners in each category will share a $15, 000.

The two nights of racing will be on Friday and Saturday from 6:30 p.m on both nights.
