Sangre Grande honours six

SIX people were recipients of Indian Arrival Day awards in Sangre Grande. The region’s Indian Arrival Day celebrations were held at the Sangre Grande Hindu School, Rosseau Street, Sangre Grande and those who were recognised for the contribution in their Education, Business, Community work, included Karihma Seema Bhagaloo, Dr Narvin Dookeram, Neeylal and Nirmala Persad, Pt Bownath Maraj and Jitendra Cadan.

The attendees were treated to entertainment by Rishi Singh and Danny Narine, dances by Shiv Shakti Dance Company Sharmain’s School of dance and Shalani Juteram.

Fireworks ended the night’s celebrations in grand style.
