Gasparillo woman was chopped to death
This was yesterday revealed by an autopsy which showed that the mother died from a single chop wound to her neck.
Pathologist Dr Eslyn Mc Donald- Burris in her findings of an autopsy conducted at the Forensic Science Centre in St James yesterday, revealed that Titus died as a result of vascular injury caused by a chop to her neck.
On Thursday morning, Titus’ semi-nude body was found by her 82-year-old stepfather inside her home at San Fabian Road, Springland, Gasparillo.
According to police reports, at about 6.30 am Horace Charles discovered Titus’ body in the laundry area near the kitchen.
He reported to police that he last saw Titus cooking in the kitchen while in the company of a man.
He had gone to retrieve something in the kitchen and retired to bed shortly after.
When Charles woke up three hours later, he found Titus’ corpse, but the man was nowhere in sight.
