Republic prayer day again

He was speaking at post- PNM general council media conference held at Balisier House, Port-of-Spain.

Khan said that at the general council, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley indicated that the National Day of Prayer will again be held on Republic Day and commemorated at the Queen’s Park Savannah in Portof- Spain. Khan pointed that for the holiday last year, a similar occasion was held and they plan to repeat the exercise.

At the event last year, Rowley addressed those in attendance and representatives of various religions prayed for the country on issues such as crime, violence and corruption.
