Give them deserved honour

Th silver medallist showed her anger on the track at not winning gold. I love her as an ambassador representing Holland, but her anger spoiled the situation. She is the world 200 metres champion and wanted gold in Brazil.

The silver medal was like dirt for her.

In T20 cricket, the team batting first looks forward to lots of runs in the last over and often this does not happen.

Earlier in the innings batsmen fail to take advantage of the power play overs.

Like the cricketers, this Dutch athlete should have put on more speed earlier in the race. And she should accept that not winning gold was her fault and move on.

I wish her the best and hope she wins two gold medals some time in the future.

Let us hope that all athletes are given the honour they deserve, whether winners or losers.
