Single bullet killed boy, 9
But they lamented to reporters yesterday at the Forensic Science Centre in St James that they do not expect anything to come out of investigations into the boy’s killing.
Autopsy reports have confirmed that Cyon was killed by a single bullet perforated his left arm then passed through his upper body, puncturing his lungs and his heart.
“We just want justice,” said Cyon’s uncle, Simeon Morris.
“We don’t want this to be hidden.
We just want justice.
But we know it not going to happen” Cyon left his home with his cousin at about 8.30pm to get hot dogs at Potato Street, La Romaine.
But before they could purchase the meal they were caught in the line of fire of indiscriminate shooting, near a service station on the Southern Main Road.
The boy and his cousin ran for safety but, just as they were fleeing, Cyon complained of a feeling pain in his chest, before collapsing in the driveway of a business place.
