Rajkumar to defend South Caribbean Golf title

The tournament is the longest ongoing golf tournament in Tobago and the only two-day 36- hole stableford competition in the country.

The format for this year’s event is a 36-hole stableford in three divisions - open division, super senior/ladies division and a professional division.

There are approximately 12 professionals in TT who apart from playing in the event will be conducting a clinic for the junior golfers on September 9 and 10.

The sponsors are the Division of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports of the Tobago House of Assembly, Blink Bmobile, MI4 Security, Nelson’s Bookstore, Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort, Carib Light, Smalta, Blue Waters and Massy Distributers.

The tournament offers a fantastic prize board that includes entry into the fifth Miami Caribbean Invitational with accommodation in November, smartphones (Samsung Galaxy S7), golf equipment and accessories and many more valuable items. The professionals will be playing for cash prizes with a first prize of $8,000.
