Fatima, QRC, P’ville demoted in SSFL

Only three points seperated the last six teams before yesterday’s matches with East Mucurapo (12 points), San Juan North (11 points), Queen’s Royal College (10), Pleasantville (10), Fatima (nine) and St Benedict’s (nine) all battling to stay in the Premier Division. Fatima, in 14th position before yesterday’s matches, lost 4-2 to League champions Shiva Boys at Fatima Ground to stay on nine points and finish last on the standings (15th).

QRC fell 4-0 to St Anthony’s and finished 13th on the standings, while Pleasantville lost 0-3 to Presentation College San Fernando to end in 14th position. St Benedict’s won their third match in a row to avoid relegation defeating Trinity 1-0. East Mucurapo ended on a high with a 2-1 win over Fyzbad, while San Juan North remains in the premier division depsite losing 0-1 to Signal Hill.
