Favourites in action at Subway Tennis

The tournament, hosted by the Tennis Patrons Association, will see boys and girls battling in the Under-10, U-12, U-14, U-16 and U-18 age groups. A total of 140 players will compete in the tournament.

Matches will also take place tomorrow and Sunday from 9 am on both days. The second annual junior tournament will conclude on the following weekend with matches contested on November 4, 5 and 6.

Today, round robin matches will be played in the boys U-10, boys U-12, boys U-14, girls U-10 and girls U-14 categories.

Ethan Wong (boys U-12), Sebastian Byng (boys U-12), Emily Lawrence (girls U-14) and Ebolum Nwokolo (boys U-14) are among the top players who will be in action today.

Some of the other players expected to compete for titles are Cameron Wong, Ella Carrington (girls U-12), Alijah Leslie (boys U-14), Kayla Frank (girls U-14), Adam Ramkissoon, Edward Laquis (boys U-16), Victoria Koylass, Abigail Jones (girls U-16), Nabeel Mohammed, Che Andrews (boys U-18), Emma Rose Trestrail and Emma Davis (girls U-18).
