‘When Love Came Down’ with Love Movement

This production will feature the Lights of Love Children’s Choir in their lively sing-along musical m?lange of the best-loved music from popular Disney musicals including Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid and Aladdin.

The Love Movement Republic Bank Youth Outreach Group, will showcase excerpts from the popular Broadway Musical Grease and the Senior Choir will go down memory lane with songs from the unforgettable Motown era. The entire cast will then join hearts and voices to end the evening with a mini-musical that brings to life the wonderful story of Christmas, with popular and well-loved Christmas favourites, a media release said.

This year’s production is going to be deeply nostalgic, visually stimulating and spectacular with set design by Brian Mac Farlane and Mac Farlane Design Studios.

Expert musical and artistic direction is by Bernadette Scott, with Dr Helmer Hilwig as stage and drama director.

Choreographers Heather Henderson-Gordon, Francesca Vazzana, Lesley Lewis-Alleyne and Keisha Knox have been working with the cast on exciting choreography.

When Love Came Down runs from November 4 to 6. A special “Children’s Charity Show” takes place on November 5 at 3 pm for children from several institutions and shelters. The Love Movement is seeking assistance with sponsorship of tickets for these children who look forward each year to an unforgettable evening of fun and thrilling entertainment.

Transport is also provided for those who need.

The tickets for this show are $100 and assistance from individuals or corporate sponsors is welcomed. Anyone interested in sponsoring tickets for this special show can contact Scott at 624-4474.

Evening shows cost $250 for reserved seating and $200 for open seating. There will be a special discount of $50 on the purchase of tickets for the Friday evening show.

Show times on Friday and Saturday are 8 pm, and on Sunday at 6 pm. Tickets are available at the Queen’s Hall box office from 10 am to 6 pm, Monday to Saturday and from noon to 6 pm on Sundays.

Proceeds from the concerts will go to The Love Movement Republic Bank Youth Outreach Programme.
