Ali, Regis top 5K at Sando Triathlon and Boat Festival

All proceeds go to the rebuilding of the scout house of the 1st Presentation College Sea Scouts which was demolished to accommodate the San Fernando Water Taxi Terminal.

Ali, 19-years-old, was in excellent form yesterday, crossing the finish line first in a cool 14 minutes and 30 seconds. Trailing by just four seconds was Adrian Paul while Kevon Dyer (14.46) was third.

Regis, 53, beat the women’s field easily with a time of 18 minutes and 28 seconds. She was followed by Candice Bekaroo (18.50) and Zinara Lesley (18.55).
