Police taking a proactive role

Certainly they appear to have taken a back seat in the fight against crime, preferring to place the blame on the public for not bringing information to them, which incidentally is their job.

What is surprising is that they “will not continue tolerating these sorts (sic) of murders.” It is a shock to learn that to date the police have been tolerating such murders.

The citizenry must be wondering what “methods” are going to be introduced that have not been tried and failed before.

The country has heard these ineffectual statements before and are not impressed. The police should just get on with the job instead of making grandiose promises which they cannot keep.

The people are fed up of the badjohn talk with no action.

Stop talking and do.
