Central Sports, Merry Boys in 50 overs battle today

Both teams played in the final of the National T20 Festival last night at the Brian Lara Academy in Tarouba. The teams will be battling for semifinal spots for the entire weekend, as the final round will be played tomorrow.

Central Sports and Merry Boys will play at the Brian Lara Recreation Ground in Santa Cruz, defending champions Queen’s Park will face Tableland at Tableland, Alescon Comets battle Jailal Enterprise Victoria at Pierre Road Recreation Ground in Charlieville, while Powergen will tackle First Citizens Clarke Road at Syne Village, Penal.

The semifinals will take place on Wednesday, followed by the final on May 14.
