20 held as army kits, drugs, ammo seized

Suspects were held for shootings in the Port-of-Spain area as well as armed robberies and drug trafficking.

Officers also seized two army camouflage kits and 103 rounds of assorted ammunition. Residents of East Port-of-Spain welcomed the joint operation and told Newsday th presence of the police and soldiers gave them a sense of security.

The detained suspects will be placed on several ID parades as their continue police in their investigations into seveal cases.
