AG: Scanner issues being handled

During the sitting, Finance Minister Colm Imbert said there are issues between the projected deficit between contributions and payments to beneficiaries at the National Insurance Board (NIB). He declined to provide specifics but said the matter was engaging the attention of his ministry.

Speaking on behalf of Education Minister Anthony Garcia, Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh said he had been assured that the matter of payments to special-needs schools “is being dealt with.” He added that Garcia will communicate with stakeholders accordingly. Deyalsingh also said the review of the National Test 2018 should be completed by August.
