TT boxing bored

They have said they don’t have any money in the Treasury and that the last Government squandered all the money and stole it too. Now, they are asking citizens to tighten their belts. What tomfoolery those people are about? Firstly, there is a Boxing Board with an office with about eight staff members who are being paid thousands of dollars while there is no professional boxing in Trinidad and Tobago. Then there is the boxing board with about five to seven members from the chairman right up.

They are all drawing thousands of dollars monthly while maintaining their own jobs, where they are getting another salary too.

I am asking the question again! Is there any professional boxing going on in TT ? Why are these people drawing thousands of taxpayers’ dollars when there is no boxing in TT ? Imagine the Boxing Board is paying thousands a month in rent for an office at St Ann’s while they do nothing! I am indulging the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, the Honourable Dr Keith Christopher Rowley, to investigate the Minister of Sport, Mr Darrel Smith and the Chairman of the TT Boxing Board and the whole Boxing fraternity.

Now tell me why are all these people getting so much money every month for doing nothing, when other people who are less fortunate are being sent home, because there are no jobs or no pay for them. That is not fair! Please Mr Prime Minister, do something with this situation.
