YUMA launches Carnival presentation

On a cool Saturday evening, a large crowd gathered, many with their coolers at the Complex, ready to feel the vibes that Yuma had to offer them. “This is more than a fete, it’s a big lime,” said a patron.

The atmosphere took was more than excitable especially as the crowd waited for the parade of costumes to begin. And as fit models came on stage decked off in costumes from the band’s 2018 presentation, the crowd cheered with some jumping and screaming in joy.

Another patron told Newsday: “I am, not usually a fan of Yuma costumes, but this year, they wowed me definitely.” Soon after the parade ended, Akil “5Star Akil” Borneo joined the DJ and whipped the already hyped crowd into a frenzy. The party continued non-stop with nothing but positive feedback from members of the crowd.
