No water in the taps for months

The excuses are “the pump broke down” and “silt in the ducts.” What I want to know is does WASA do any planning or does it, like most, wait until something breaks down completely then throw its hands in the air and expect the suffering public to understand At present no one seems to know when or if we will ever have a pipe-borne water supply.
To make matters worse, the rate of construction going on further up Maraval is a matter for concern.
