Let public see crime plans too

However, I would also like the Government to provide information on these crimes plans to the public. After all, crime affects the public more than the Opposition.

We know there will be politics played on both sides. Give the public a chance to see and discuss these crime plans too. We are not dumb.

The public can also give its opinion and put pressure on Members of Parliament to support it or not.

Plus, the public will be able to make suggestions and recommendations on the crime plans.

Why is the public always left out of these important matters? If it is good for the Opposition, then it is good for the public.

Or is it that both the Government and Opposition want to meet behind closed doors, cook up something and shove it down our throats just like what was done previously with other pieces of legislation that we are now regretting? Please don’t underestimate us and take us for fools every time.
