3 held in murder of Ramco gas salesman

Three suspects in the murder of Ramco gas salesman Bobby Bowen were among nine persons arrested in an early morning exercise yesterday by officers of the Inter Agency Task Force. The suspects, ages 17, 19 and 20, were arrested at their Beverly Hills home in Laventille. Also seized was an army camouflage uniform, one ski mask and several rounds of ammunition. Bowen was killed on Saturday while delivering gas in Laventille. The exercise was coordinated by Sgt Errol Denoon and included Inspector Sahadeo Singh and others. All arrested will appear before a Port-of Spain Magistrate. Several homes were also raided in connection with recent murders in Laventille.
