Republic Bank gets Risk Manager

Republic Bank has announced the appointment of Ian De Souza to the position of General Manager, Risk Management. De Souza’s responsibilities involve the management of credit risk for the Republic Bank Group, which includes operations in Guyana, Grenada, Barbados, the Dominican Repu-blic and Cuba. A former St Mary’s College graduate, De Souza holds a BSc in Economics, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and an Executive MBA from the University of the West Indies, St Augustine. He joined the Republic Group in 1992 out of the Bank of Montreal, Toronto, Ontario.
