Jury right to free Dhanraj

AFTER spending three years in police custody, and amid a highly publicised trial in the Port-of-Spain High Court, former UNC Local Government Minister, Dhanraj Singh, was yesterday freed of the murder of former chairman of the Mayaro/Rio Claro Regional Corporation, Hansraj Sumairsingh. Newsday reporter Richardson Dhalai, accompanied by photographer Nicholas Ramjass, took to the streets of San Fernando to solicit the views of members of the public.
