An inspiration to all (In honour of a role model)

THE EDITOR: Please permit me a space in your daily newspaper to first of all send my condolences to the family of one of this country’s most renowned spiritual Hindu leaders Dharmacharya Pundit Krishna Maharaj.

Being the uncle and the grand uncle of my family this great loss will not be forgotten; his heroic deeds shall always be remembered by Hindus in society today. In the eyes of society his contribution meant a lot to all Hindus across the nation. One such theme in his contribution was “Education.” This theme made somewhat a lot of difference to society back then, of course, with the support of Bhadase Sagan Maraj’s idea to construct six Hindu schools as well as the holy places of worship (temples). Another great and honourable deed which has inspired me by my granduncle was his kindness to all in which he would openly share his generosity to the poor (in need). He would also advise those in need of spiritual guidance which would be comforting to the mind and soul. His virtue should be therefore be of such example to not only youths of society but to other spiritual leaders as well. In honour of him we should therefore take him into society as a role model with the theme “Vision to Success.”
