Mentally ill woman found dead

A 50-YEAR-OLD mentally ill woman, who medical records showed last visited the doctor at age 19, was found dead at her Princes Town home yesterday. According to reports, Daisy Roberts of Jalin Branch Trace, Princes Town, was last seen alive around 5 pm on Wednesday. Her body was discovered by neighbour and caregiver Aszal Hosein, clad only in a pair of underwear. Police said Roberts had no known relatives, since the last next of kin — a brother — passed away last year. Officers do not suspect foul play in her death, but are still awaiting the results of an autopsy today at the San Fernando Mortuary. ASP Dhilpaul is investigating.
