16 held in police/army raids

Sixteen people were arrested in an early morning exercise carried out by officers of the Inter Agency Task Force. Officers seized a fully loaded .38 revolver and a quantity of marijuana. Others were arrested for questioning in a series of robberies along the East/West corridor. The exercise started at 5 am and was led by Supt Errol Denoon, ASP Sealey and Ag Inspector Sahadeo Singh.
