Hundreds turn up at College Fair

Scores of college-bound students accompanied by their parents and guardians turned up at the College Fair 2003, hosted by the United States Embassy at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, yesterday. Eager persons packed the foyer and ballroom of the hotel hoping to learn more about academic life abroad, as the event provided a unique opportunity for visitors to meet with admissions offices of over 50 American, Canadian and Caribbean universities and colleges. Information on these universities, as well as visas, standardised tests such as SAT, GRE and GMAT was also available. The fair will continue today at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, from 9 am to 12 noon and 3 - 6 pm.
