Warm welcome for new Filipino doctors

Filipino doctors from the United Nations received a warm welcome on Friday in the form of a  birthday party for those who  celebrated their birthday in October. Dr Maria Lourdes Jaen and Dr Noe Jaen hosted the party at their Gulf View home, La Romain. The evening’s celebrations began with welcome remarks by Dr Roxanne Tantoco and the presentation of gifts. Dinner was served at 7 pm with roast pig being the main part of the meal. The new doctors who have joined the Filipinos doctors already in TT had “a ball of a time” and all seemed to fit in quite nicely. The new Filipino doctors are Dr Nelson Elle, Dr Jacqueline Ontoy, Dr Marie Rosary Mapeso, Dr Rhoda Billedo, Dr Floriza Mendoza, and Dr Ashkan Alizadeh.
