Luxam shows off new products
Luxsam Industries Ltd, the Chaguanas-based consumer electronic assembly plant, recently hosted a product familiarisation seminar at the Kampo Restaurant for its dealers. The seminar was designed to facilitate the staff of Luxsam’s 200 dealers in Trinidad and Tobago and the Southern Caribbean Islands with its 2004 product line, including Samsung’s Projection and Super Flat screen colour TV’s, microwaves, bookshelf stereo systems, DVD players and discman players. The company also introduced new 2004 products for its Magnum brand which is owned by Luxsam. Representatives from St Vincent, Grenada, St Lucia and Barbados were also present. Luxsam’s Managing Director Douglas Lucky-Samaroo showed participants the latest technological advances in consumer electronics that is taking place worldwide. Luxsam’s technical staff was present at the various product displays to answer questions and highlight the functions and advantages of the products. Luxsam is a 26-year-old company having first started assembling Consumer Electronics under the Pioneer, NEC and Toshiba Brands in 1976.
