Carenage cops to be disciplined

Disciplinary action has been taken against more than 20  cops who chose to relocate from the Carenage police station last week to the Four Roads police station.

While refusing to say what type of action was taken, and even denying he saw their action as a protest, Acting Commissioner of Police Everald Snaggs confirmed he had taken such action. The cops, with assistance from the Police Social and Welfare Association, relocated after years of complaints about the dilapidated 150-year-old building amidst pleas by ACP Glen Roach for them to remain because there was a high density of crime in the area. The top cop made the statements to the media during a  tour of other dilapidated stations.
