Bail for Pt Fortin schoolboys
TWO students from the Point Fortin Senior Secondary school, aged 15 and 16, appeared before a Point Fortin magistrate yesterday charged with assaulting a fellow student and with assaulting a student and teacher, respectively.
The teens appeared before Magistrate Maria Busby Earle-Caddle, who granted the younger of the accused $5,000 bail. The other teen was granted $10,000 bail. The two young defendants appeared in court accompanied by their parents. Cpl Junior Geoffrey prosecuted the case yesterday. Both students pleaded not guilty to their respective charges and the case was adjourned to December 2.
