Plipdeco adds ‘Dabhol’ to fleet

The formal launch of “Dabhol,” Plipdeco’s newest tug, took place last week at the company’s head quarters in Point Lisas. Plipdeco now operates five tugs — Neptune, Hercules, Apollo, Zeus and Dabhol and is a result of a joint partnership with the Danish firm of Svitzer/Wijsmuller. According to the Rolingson, Plipdeco is now more competitive in the Latin Amercan region having been chosen for the third time running as the best Port in the Caribbean by the Caribbean Shipping Associ-ation.
