Strawberry Chip n-ball queens

STRAWBERRY were crown queens of Chips Sports and Cultural Club “Berry” League netball. But it was a very close call for the winners by four-tenths of a point on goal-average. Both Strawberry and Cranberry completed their four-match schedule with three victories and one defeat each for six points. But while Strawberry scored 97 goals with 62 against, Cranberry netted 91 with 60 against.  Blueberry finished third on four points with Juneberry next and Dewberry following. Action in the league ends on Sunday with an All Star team playing against The Rest at the Angostura Sports Complex, Success Village, Laventille, from 4 pm. Umpires for the game are Coreen David and Melissa Saldenha.
