Costly engineering course

THE EDITOR: There is a move to offer the engineering courses from TTIT at San Fernando Technical Institute. I was interested in doing a particular engineering course at SFTI and I compared the cost of doing a similar course at TTIT. I cannot afford to do that course at TTIT. What is going to happen when those TTIT courses are offered at SFTI. I won’t be able to access the programme I wanted to do. Many young people will be faced with financial constraints if government is moving in that direction. This is something that Minister Colm Imbert should look into.
