Blackout in South
A MAJOR part of south Trinidad was without electricity for a few hours yesterday afternoon, following a problem that was traced to the Penal-Powergen Power Station. A TTEC source said engineers from both the Commission and Power Gen worked feverishly to resolve the problem, but up to press time, there were still areas without electricity. Even the Petrotrin Refinery at Point-a-Pierre was said to have been affected.
