Petit Valley man commits suicide

A retired Petit Valley man hanged himself after being rejected by his lover.

Winston Dorgriss, 53, was found hanging from an electrical cord at his Union Road home around 9 am yesterday by his sister. The recently retired TTEC employee was seen earlier by residents putting out the garbage. According to police, the man, who had no wife nor children, got depressed recently when his lover rejected him for another. The man, who lavishly spent his gratuity on his friends, became very reserved following the break-up. Reports indicate he had communicated his intentions to some of his friends but they did not believe him. The body was taken to the Forensic Science Centre for analysis. Four Roads police are investigating.
