TTMA very sad over death of Aleong
President of the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers Association (TTMA) Anthony Hosang yesterday expressed his sadness over the death of businessman Christopher Aleong.
Aleong, who was CEO of Albrosco Limited, was a member of the TTMA. In a telephone interview, Hosang lamented the unfortunate circumstances surrounding Aleong’s death, stating that citizens of the country should not be forced to face this situation of escalating crime. He described the past week, which was overshadowed by the deaths of 17-year-old Arvin Bissoondial in San Fernando on Saturday, Scotiabank retiree Annette Farah at Westmoorings on Sunday, and now Aleong, as one of great tragedy. He revealed that the association had extended its condolences to all three families. President of the TT Chamber of Industry and Commerce David O’Brien could not be reached for comment.
