Kudos for Iman Rasheed

THE EDITOR: Kindly allow me space in your newspaper to compliment Imam Rasheed for the wonderful Eid Ul Fitr message he presented at the Mosque in Greenidge Street, Felicity, on Tuesday November 25, 2003.

This beloved Imam gave a wonderful interpretation about fasting and why Muslims should fast during the holy month of Ramadan. Also he gave almost everyone a chance to greet one another in the mosque. In his message the Imam wanted Muslims to know there is a mosque in Felicity and they should feel free to come and pray five times daily. Special thanks to the president of the mosque Brother Hajj Zorad Khan who worked hand in hand with the Imam to make this Eid message and celebration in Felicity a wonderful moment where Muslims greeted friends, fellow villagers and neighbours, expressing the true essence of Islam.
