Cuban boxing officials visit Tigers Gym

Vincente Martinez is considered to be one of Cuba’s top boxing coaches.

This has been affirmed by Marketing Manager of Cubadeportes, Jorge Pardo during a recent visit to Trinidad and Tobago. As a result of his work with Trinidad and Tobago pugilist Kertson Manswell and countless other Pan American, Commonwealth and Central American champions, Martinez has attracted the attention of Pardo and Director of Sport for Cubadeportes, West Region, Enrique Iglesias. At the Tiger’s Gym on Friday, Manswell went through his paces with head coach Winston Cox while the Cuban contingent looked on in approval.
