Some talk shows inciting racism

THE EDITOR: To every Billy Dee Williams and Quincy Jones (even OJ Simpson), there is a Diana Ross and Dianne Caroll (of “Julia” fame).

There are local examples of racial intermarriage that I choose not to mention and while one educated person had already made mention of the effects of interracial association on the families of the male who is involved, there is a deafening silence when women of a certain ethnic group namely the African descendants interface with men of other races. Being born in certain parts of Trinidad is a chip on the shoulders of the same group that is being targetted for perceived affirmative action by a local consortium of tertiary institutions namely COSTAATT.

This perception of a low self image that is foisted upon the male from prenatal time is perpetuated by single mothers who carry a negative father figure mentality. Who vex lost. There are, however, young men who are able to testify of the dedication of their own mothers who through thick and thin are able to bring them up successfully, not by human might but by the spirit, Zech 4:6. God told His chosen people, the children of Israel (Jacob) to remain pure by not giving their sons and (take note) daughters to the Canaanites and the concern there was idolatry, not race.

The Israelites disobeyed that command and as a result they could not drive their enemies out, hence the reason judges were raised up every time Israel went into physical captivity. Although they learnt their lesson following the Babylonian captivity, they took to the extreme by becoming self-righteous. Deut 5:29 and 29:4 show that very few of them were given the Holy Spirit and that Zionism has negated the fulfilment of Zech 8:23 for now. The upcoming Great Tribulation (the time of Jacob’s trouble) will purge the mostly Jewish Israelites of this racism.

This is not applied to a country like Colombia, a Latin American country, where interracial marriage is common-place therefore wisdom is the key. Back to this land. Concern must be expressed about the utterances of certain talk show hosts who are given to poetic licence. Suffice it to say is that justice is served when media workers who incited ethnic tensions in Rwanda are incarcerated after what happened in 1994. Children of mixed marriages are usually the targets in civil wars. People who are standing in the gap are to continue in this vein for the peace to be maintained.
