Gene whips Talma in RBTT Tennis

NICHOLAS GENE triumphed 8-5 in his boys Under-14 matchup against Adam Talma as the RBTT Junior Tennis Tournament served off at the PSA Tennis Courts, St James. Two other matches in the U-14s were contested on Saturday, with Bakari Camara cruising past Ronnie Jones 8-4 and Beurn Burris defeating Dirk Ramdial 8-3. Matthew Adamira also got a win under his belt after his opponent Kevin Roopan defaulted. The 26th annual event will see round-robin matches in the U-10, U-12 and U-14 divisions while the U-16 and U-18 players will feature in a knockout version.
