Hulks on Diego Martin River

THE EDITOR: A second Incredible Hulk has been discovered in the estuary of the Diego Martin river! In response to my earlier published report about a 20-metre rotting barge across the mouth of the river at Westmoorings, residents near the new marine graveyard contacted me to advise that a second, similar hulk lies nearby, some 50 metres to the south-east. It is only easily visible at low tide when it serves as a preferred perch for the area’s pelicans. Fishermen also anchor fish pots to the man-made pollutant. The residents report that as a result of the incredible hulks, the estuary is sitting-up, defeating the very purpose for which the barges were brought in earlier this year, namely, to remove spoil from the dredged river. Questions: Who abandoned these derelicts there? Who is responsible for removing them?
Or, in our normal, laissez-faire manner, does it matter at all?
